SNOWY ANNIVERSARY SESSION IN PARIS

MAY & HUGO

For the past two years we have had little to no snow in Paris. When it did snow it was only for five minutes, and always in December or January. Today, February the 5th, the day began with a beautiful sunrise, followed by a cloudy sky and the weather getting colder by the minute because of the wind! As I photographed the second client of the day I mentioned that Paris was expecting heavy snowfall over the next few days, and commented on how much I was looking forward to it as I had never done a photo shoot in the snow before.

About 10 minutes into the shoot it began snowing lightly and we were ecstatic! After a couple of shots at the Eiffel Tower we headed to a café to warm up, and then took the subway to the gardens of the Palais Royal. As we emerged from the station we saw the snow had become so intense that the city was all covered in white, and looking so much more romantic! It was so much fun shooting in the snow that we didn’t even feel the cold!
